On January 10, 2019, the Engineering and Technology Department of Supply Chain Department cooperated with Kunshan Operations Department to successfully test-run the unmanned electric pallet car in Feichang No. 3 Warehouse.

In recent years, various kinds of warehousing automation equipment mushroom in China. How to use automation equipment to improve the efficiency of warehousing operation is almost the most concerned issue in the current warehousing industry. In the next three to five years, the scale of traditional manual warehouse industry will reach its historical peak, but on the other hand, “l(fā)ess manned warehouse” will increasingly become the industry demand. We are trying to run unmanned forklifts, which shows our development following this trend.

Although there are still some distances between us and the full-scale flexible unmanned warehouse in the real sense, the real “l(fā)ess manned warehouse” is replacing most warehousing operations by using automation equipment. We believe that in the near future, the scenario presupposed by intelligent logistics will become reality.
